Artist In Residence Program (AIRP)
Joshua Wigger

The mission of the AIRP is to provide a working artist to inspire and educate students in all aspects of their program.  Josh Wigger is an emerging artist, musician, and sound engineer from the Los Angeles area.  He grew up in Fresno California where he first created many of the city's large-scale murals, before moving to LA to attend sound school.

Josh came to Freestyle in November, 2010 and stayed with us for three weeks.  During his tenure he taught students' many new techniques in Photoshop and Illustrator, new approaches in audio engineering, as well as many new studio art methods.  Additionally, we were also very fortunate that Josh painted four murals for the campus, each depicting one of the classes - see photos below.
