This unit we focused on narrative writing and narraive projects. We came up with a general story idea that we would be able to translate into something in each class. In English, we learned about all kinds of narrative stories, and what makes a short story. For our major assignment, we wrote short, short stories that were taken from our assignment in Design. For Design, we made photo narratives. The photo narratives were a collection of five to seven photos that connected to our main idea. Our short stories were then written after our photo narratives were complete. We also created a children's book as a class. We came up with the idea and divided the responsibility for creating pages in English, and in Design each of us used Illustrator to create the page we chose to compete for the book. In Web, we then adapted our short stories into screenplays that would be made into animations. We also created an entirely new layout for the narrative unit website.
