Who is your client?
Our client was Mr. Ron Huizing from Mountain View High School, who came to us with the concerns about the student-littering problem at MVHS

Who is on your Freestyle ACAAT Design and Production Team?
Our production team consisted of Andy and myself from the Web/Audio class, and Justin and Michael from the Film class.

What are the main messages of your PSA campaign?
Our main message for this campaign was that littering led to humiliating yourself, and if you didn’t litter, then your pride and possessions would all stay intact. For example, if you cleaned up your ketchup packets after you ate your lunch then you wouldn’t sit on them and humiliate yourself once people saw the stain that it left.

What products were created to convey your PSA campaign message?
For this campaign, we created four posters that all connected to become our poster campaign, we created two 30-second commercials, four radio spots, one website and we also wrote four persuasive essays on the topic of student littering.

Why did you choose the particular color scheme?
We chose our color scheme because we felt that by choosing a more natural toned theme we could better show our socially conscious topic and nature.

Why did you choose the particular typography?
We felt that simple typography would help to make our message clear, rather than confuse the viewer with complicated graphics.

What are you most proud of in this project?
In this project I think that I’m most proud of our poster campaign, I really like how they came together and how the message is really clear in them.

Other comments.
I think it was really great to have a project where we got to work on something that can actually help the community.
