Clock-eyed: A Junior Self-Portrait Illustration by Jacob Nunley (2011)

My illustration is a close-up of a human eye, with the eyeball displayed as a stopwatch. The eyelid is shut yet it is transparent enough to see the running clock. The idea behind the art is that I am a relaxed person; I seldom worry about anything which lets me get things done without stress. This trait is portrayed by the shut eye. On the other hand my nonchalance can get me into trouble when I let deadlines fly by me, as portrayed by the running stopwatch.
