Sweet and Sour: A Junior Self-Portrait Illustration by Zia Absar (2011)

Being nice and sweet can be a positive thing, but when others are sour they just think of you as annoying. I represented myself with an ice-cream cone because I like to be friendly and make people happy. I also put sour gummy worms on top to represent all the sour people that just rain on your parade sometimes. The background has many suns because suns are really eager to rise and set, just like I am eager to experience new things. There are many suns because I am very eager.
