Envisioning Freestyle: A Senior Experimental Art Piece by Aiden Zucker (2012)

I've always been intrigued with the form of the eye, and so I incorporated it into my senior experimental project. The success of the project hinged on the quality of the eye, so I photographed the blue-green iris of the one and only Dominick Montelaro. I also used the a picture of a lock on the campus and a cutting board in Freestyle. Under the advice of Maxine Tsang, I warped the picture of the design board so it looked that it was formed around the eye.

Freestyle has taught me a different way of thinking, and I portrayed that through this piece. The lock in the corner of the eye is to show that my new way of seeing things is permanent, and I will take that into college and beyond.
