No Strings Attached: A Junior Self-Portrait Illustration by Arya Arasnia (2012)

My concept for this illustration was to represent what can happen if you overwork yourself. I drew a guitar with broken strings because it exemplifies what can happen to you if you overlook a project or try to hard to perfect something thats already complete, soon enough you will lose sight of where you wanted your work to go. You'll end up tuning your strings too much until they eventually break.

My technical process for this Illustration was me just drawing my acoustic guitar and trying to get all the details from the fretboard to the tuners. The biggest challenge I had was just trying to replicate my guitar the best I could, imaging it with broken strings.
