Alone: A Senior Comic Strip by Sean McLoughlin (2013)

This comic strip is about two guys named James and William who are amazing scientists. The world is ending so they are creating a potion that will transform them and bring them to an alternative universe. The world is very close to ending and there is only enough potion for one of them so James panics and drinks the potion by himself so he is transformed. When he is sent to the alternative universe he immediately regrets the decision he made. The comic ends with James looking down on the world feeling depressed because he betrayed his friend and he is paying the consequence because of it
