Do You Need Help With That?: A Senior Mise en Scene Illustration by Nikki Kashani (2013)

For my mise en scene I staged a scene in my narrative film in which Patrick and Virginia meet for the first time. This marks the point of no return in the story because up until this point, Patrick had been self loathing and alone. When him and Virginia accidentally bump into each other, their chemistry is undeniable and the two find solace in each other. The scene takes place at their high school parking lot, the two of them just getting let out of second period. Finding Virgina helps Patrick see past his own problems and helps him reach out to help his mother with her relationship issues.
