Chaos: A Senior Surreal Photo by Patrick McClellan (2013)

In my surrealist image, I used High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography to juxtapose a baseball field and a pitcher standing on the mound. HDR pictures are composed of three pictures of the same image - one underexposed, one overexposed, and one at the right exposure. When I combined the three in photoshop, the colors were more vivid, and the details were sharper than one image on its own. I tweaked the color and contrast levels of the field surrounding the pitcher to give it a chaotic, stressful mood, while the pitcher stands calm and collected on the mound in his normal colors.
