Transported: A Junior Self-Portrait Diptych by Alexander Hammerschmidt (2013)

The two pictures for my diptych go together because in my poem I stated how music transports me to a whole new place, so to speak. The two images have a visual tension since one is more dark and blue colored, whereas the other one is a lot brighter and has a more or less red feeling to it. They both also have a lot chroma or intense colors as well as a center focus point on the specific object. Even though the objects in both the pictures are very different, they are alike in relation to my poem and essay.
