A Triptych Love Story: A Senior Narrative Book Jacket by Taylor Houston (2014)

I chose to use the colors of blue, pink, and purple blending into each other to represent the two girls and one boy love triangle. The title is also inspired by triptychs meaning- a work of art in three pieces. I thought it was vague in the right way to describe my story.

Of course, the story of a love triangle is nothing new, so to slightly satirize it, the cover art I created is of three stick figures, two holding hands and one left out of the loop. I wanted to kind of mock typical love triangles by using the simplistic stick figures. The programs I used to create this are InDesign and Illustrator.
