The Tough Sale: A Senior Narrative Book Jacket by William Scheetz (2014)

The book jacket I created goes along with the narrative story I wrote in English, which was about a peacock who spends all his money on shoes and clothes and cannot afford to pay his pending speeding ticket. This conflict prompts the plot of the story which is about how a peacock enlists the help of his chicken friend to come up with the money he needs before the end of the day. The book jacket I created in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. If it were a published book, my target audience is children and hence I used bright colors and a simple design.
