Jared Darby: A Senior Profile Portrait by Christian Rodriguez (2015)

Jared Darby is a math teacher at Mountain View High School, but he is also much more than that. He is someone who loves to help people. He does this through teaching, volunteering, donating, and just talking with students. He also has a special way of teaching through building a community, he believes that community should come before everything else.

For my Profile Portrait I used a speedlight, a reflector, and a DSLR camera to achieve my photo. I had a few struggles and successes. The image ended a bit darker than I would have liked, and the cropping was a bit off. I used photoshop to lighten it up a bit and turn the contrast up a bit, and to crop it into the proper proportions. After I was finally done I was happy with the final product.
