Throughout my life, I have had a fascination with the look of astronauts. Their big, baggy white outfits and their sleek helmet visors always draw my interest.
I wanted to make a piece that reflected this fascination and intrigue. However, I thought that simply tracing over a picture and coloring it in would be kind of lazy and uncreative. This is what gave me inspiration to do a low-poly portrait of an astronaut in Adobe Illustrator, which came out the way I intended it to.
