In this piece, I took inspiration from my own personal experiences. As an animator, I spend much of my time polishing and working on my projects. However, this effort ultimately drains me of energy. I aimed to portray this in the choice of colors. The room is intentional dark to demonstrate the lack of light (a metaphor for my energy). Additionally, the room is left partially messy to demonstrate that the character prioritizes their project rather than other chores. Ultimately, this piece is a reflection of my state in Freestyle; a memoir to the toll obsession and dedication takes on us all.
