In narrative, I learned how to tell a story I had created. In documentary, I learned how to tell a story I had seen. The documentary project was an introduction to visual and narrative-style journalism, and was an opportunity for me to reinforce the skills I learned at the MVHS Oracle.
In film, I improved my technical skills, and made my first foray into sound. I practiced shooting more graceful, artistic footage, and learned to set the tone with music.
In English, I improved my skills as a researcher. I pored over dozens of sources and conducted hours of interviews to tell an important story: the fall of local journalism.
In Digital Media, I spent weeks developing my skills in Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe PhotoShop, Pro Tools, and Reason.
