For Design this quarter we had to do a photo narrative. For the photo narrative we had to take a total of six pictures and make a story out of them. The main idea was that the story being told in the photos had to be shown symbolically not literally. Hope you enjoy my photo narrative. My artist statement for the pictures is below. Artist Statement:

In life no matter what, every single person goes through hardships and obstacles. Right when you think you have overcome and obstacle most of the time another obstacle comes your way. Many times in my life hardships have come my way. Such as school grades, playing time in soccer, friend problem. No matter if I got past these hardships more would come along. In the photo narrative it shows a girl having to climb through the obstacle of climbing over the fence. At the end when she thinks she has overcome the obstacle she realizes there is still another fence to overcome. In the photo I made there be a spotlight on the girl to show that she is the center of the photo. All around her is dark to show her struggle over climbing over the fence. I hope that he viewers will see that no matter if you overcome hardships in life more will always come your way.
