Media Feature

About: This media feature was created in Adobe After Effects, a powerful program which is in some sense a combination of many of Adobe's programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash. The audio portion of the video is a narration of me reading the profile paper I wrote in English, recorded here at Freestyle, into which I incorporated snippets of my interview with William. I then used After Effects to add moving images and text to make a piece that is more meaningful than simple narration.
The transcript I'm speaking is from a profile paper I wrote about William in my English class, which I also converted into a magazine article in Design, which you can view here.
William Mutch
This is a website containing all the work I've done in our Profile Unit at Freestyle Academy. I chose to profile William Mutch, a permaculture designer and assistant gardening teacher at the Waldorf School of the Peninsula. A permaculture is an agricultural system that is sustainable and self-sufficient; as a designer, these are the types of systems William tries to make.

Included in this website are a photogallery of the pictures I've taken for this project (which are also in the background of this site) and a media feature, made out of the profile paper I wrote in my English class and interviews I've conducted.
