Free Verse Poem
The free verse poem assignment was one where we had an object that could represent our concept statement. I brought in two metals from the same tournament but two years apart. They were both second place metals that represented resignation from the game two time.

Ekphrastic Poem
Our ekphrastic poems were our interpretations of works of art from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. I chose Roni Horn’s Untitled (Weather) made from ink printed between 2010 and 2011. The artwork consists of 6 pictures of a man at a public bath. His face is emotionless and some pictures are visible and some he seems to be hidden behind a layer of fog.
