After going to the SFMOMA on a field trip, we were to gather two or three pieces from the museums that expresses who we are or who we aren’t.
I chose this one because of all the colors though each one is different they all shine bright on their own and work together well. I really believe that everyone has different talents but everyone can still use those talents and skills to work better together and better the world.
I believe the first piece is black and white which isn’t the same as the previous colorful pieces. I also believe that the piece is too dark, meaning wise for my museum, I want pieces that spread positivity and are bright. The piece has an eye with some things behind it. I believe that the second piece is about violence. It also shows a group of people watching instead of acting.
I believe that I have a very certain vision when it comes to art work. I want work that is happy and excited, nothing that is dark and really deepens in emotions. Though that may be good, it only allows me to work with certain colors and styles. Similarly, it is reflected in my choices for my own museum.
