PRO TOOLS and REASON
We had a choice to produce 3 pieces of music using the music programs, Pro Tools, and Reason combined. I have very little musical understanding so this was very challenging, but it was still fun to mess around with the settings and keyboard.
WEBSITE SPLASH SCREEN
To change our personal websites up a bit, we integrated a splash screen when first entering the website. Clicking the name redirects the user to this website. I choose a background image, and integrated a music play button for a little bit of tunes. I had never done Javascript coding before, but I feel I’ve learned the basics from this experience.
MULTILAYERED ART
For this assignment, me and my partner, Isabella chose to create layered wood art. We discussed ideas and drafted a concept. We collaborated on a photoshop file; I drew the foreground, and she did the background. We then vectorized it on illustrator, and cleaned it up.
This is the photoshop file. To differentiate each different layer of wood, we used colors. The darker the color, the further back.
The layers were cut with a lazer printer. We glued the seperate layers together to create this piece.
