Introduction
The Freestyle Academy Zenith project is essentially the final significant product that we create. For mine, I decided to do sound design, specifically music production and composition. For this one, I really wanted to add more features to my Senior Narrative, so being able to utilize the music studio and create some original music for an original film has been awesome.
Process
To start, I wanted to compose original music so I started researching how it was done. I watched a bunch of youtube videos and talked to a bunch of people and decided on composing software. Then, I decided what scenes I wanted to make the music for and started planning. I decided to use guitar in both, which led me to my musicians, Roberto Artola and Kai Mcuiddy. Next came recording which is where majority of the music was made and changed, and then editing in both Pro Tools and Premiere Pro.
