Introduction
Welcome to my portfolio presentation. I created this website to showcase two of my favorite projects I have made over the course of two years at Freestyle Academy. With the many tools available at Freestyle, we are able to produce professional content with the help of our teachers. A few of these tools include the Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Lightroom, etc), the apple computers for every student, awesome cameras, and audio recording equipment, and the list goes on and on. This portfolio will show you how I have grown as a student, and a person in the last two years.

Main focus on my book was to make it visually appealing. Inspiration: my love of art. Chose CSMA, learned more about the importance of art and it’s funding. Greatest learning experience from this project = learning new design techniques (consistency, repetition, alignment, proximity) Could have worked more on the writing, but was more focused on design. 21st C. Skills: Teaming and collaboration: Worked with classmates and teachers to push myself to make something I could be proud of. Technological literacy: used computers and adobe software to create my book. Visual literacy: I created images (my book) to advance people’s thinking and learning.
Innovator
Main focus was to spread awareness for recycling in a creative and visually appealing way Inspiration: Always thought recycling was important and wanted to expand other people’s knowledge of it along with my own. Learned about recycling and the many difficulties of producing an infographic because it was my first time. More Skills: Risk taking: Took a large risk by choosing a project that I, and nobody at freestyle, had ever done before. Self Direction - Created deadlines for myself, and basically directed myself throughout the project. Creativity - Used a creative format to show information in a more interesting way.
