Howdy!
I’m Colin Liversidge, I’ve been making films since I was 7 years old. The majority of them have been stop-motion films, but in recent years I’ve tried my hand at making live action films. The transition has been an interesting one. With this page I hope to show how I think I’ve grown in storytelling through visuals in my movies.
~ PAPERWIEGHT ~
Paperweight was my first ever film I produced at Freestyle Academy. It was one of my most clear cut examples of visual storytelling, the fact that it’s animated certainly helps.
~A BRIEF FIT OF VIOLENCE~
Ah…such a shame I wasn’t able to finish this one. I had made it in my Junior year but I had broken my leg on the last 2 days of filming, as a result, the movie shall never come to fruition. But we can still talk about how I used visuals to display a message.
~MADELINES BIRTHDAY – CREEK SCENE~
Okay, this scene itself is rough. But this is my most recent example of using visual language to get across a message. Worth looking at at least.
