*What is an animatic?
Ananimatic is basically a storyboard. It has some dialog, rough sketches, motion, and shows what you are planning to do for the animation. It is an extremely helpful tool which enables you to look at a rough draft before jumping right into an animation. You can see what would be nice to add, and what you need to take away.

Rays of light were glinting off the newly fallen snow as the sun set behind the towering glaciers. Two emperor penguins huddled together as they warmed their nearly hatched eggs. Three months of caring and nurturing all came down to this exact moment.
*Crack, crack, crack* They looked down in anticipation as one of the babies poked his head out of his shell. Two huge, black, adorable eyes gazed up at the parents.
“Aw, would you look at that,” the mommy penguin exclaimed.
Within seconds the next egg hatched. The emperor penguins were now the proud new parents of twin boys.
“We will name him Albert, and him Charlie,” said mommy penguin.
One year later.
“Why aren’t you good at everything like your brother?” a classmate asked Charlie.
“UGH! SHUT UP!” he screamed back.
Albert was the best at catching fish and held the record for fastest belly slider! Geez why am I not as good as my brother, Charlie thought to himself. Every time he heard some one make a remark about Albert being the best, Charlie could not help but feel the hate and anger rise up inside.
One day Charlie and his only friend, William, thought up a brilliant plan. They were going to take over the world. But how would they?
Charlie figured it out, “I know! We shall use mind control.”
“Perfect.”
Albert walked in just as they were discussing their plan. “Hey guys, what ‘cha talking about?”
Both evil doers panicked, “Um……um…..nothing, nothing at all.”
“Are you sure?” Albert responded with suspicion. He had heard their plan and he knew what was up. But he just wanted them to admit it.
“We’re sure.” They said in tandem.
Albert wasn’t going to push it. But he knew that he had to stop them and that he had to get to work on his plan to stop them….
Six months later. The icy polar caps had finally spread. They to young penguins had conquered the world. The mind control was successful; the planet was covered in the black and white feathery friends. Charlie could make them do or say whatever he wanted. All penguins around the world shouted: Long live black and white! Long live black and white!
Obviously Albert’s first attempted to spoil his brother’s plan failed. But he wasn’t going to give up. He went out on a limb and Google searched ‘how to break hypnosis.’ Albert really had not thought he would find the solution to his problem on the Internet, but he thought it wouldn’t hurt to try. And to his surprise right on the webpage in front of him was the perfect link for breaking hypnosis. www.wiki.com/breakhypnosis.
Step 1: Find the source. Well, that was no problem; it was his brother.
Step 2: Repeat these words – I love you.
Step 3: Give the person a hug.
Albert executed his plan right away. He went to his brother’s hide out finally save the world.
“I love you.” Albert said to Charlie.
At first he just looked at back at him blankly… “What?”
Albert went in for step 3; we went up and gave Charlie the biggest and most cuddly hug ever.
1… 2… 3… Within seconds the computer screens detecting weather the penguins were under Charlie’s control all went dead. It had worked!
