we met by the ocean the air through your silky hair. where did that time smile go, wehere did that time go. i can't even look into your eyes the same anymore. you won't see me the same way, i once held your heart dear. Just know that you still hold mine, i hope you will. we met by the ocean *ocean* the air through your silky hair. now I can't forget, please come back to me. my heart is an empty net, we were ment to be. You wont see me the same way.

We met by the ocean *ocean* the air through your silky hair. Where did that smile go? Where did that time go? I can't even look into your eyes the same anymore. *yeah*
You won't see me the same way, I once held your heart dear. Just know that you still hold mine, I hope you will. *yeah*
We met by the ocean *ocean* the air through your silky hair. Now I can't forget, please come back to me. *yeah* My heart is an empty net, we were ment to be.
You wont see me the same way, I held your heart dear. Just know that you still hold mine, I hope you will. *yeah*
We were once the best of friends, we were once the perfect catch. I want to make ammends, I promise there is no catch.
I know you are not here, but I need you to forgive me. Now I know I'll die of guilt, you will never be mine. In my grave I will wilt with you my valentine.
And your momma and your papa, they be hating on me. I brought them some tapas, and they said let it be.
You are gone forever, you know I will always love you. I wish we had our happily after ever, but I guess I'll move on too
You wont see me the same way. I once held your heart dear. But know that you still hold mine, I hope you will. I hope you will.

The music video unit tested my vocal capabilities. The studio has high-end production quality equipment. Music gets complicated with multiple layers of sound effects. Our group's best ideas were inspired by acoustic instruments. We initially experimented with acoustic piano in our song. Digital instruments were an essential tool during this project. We evaluated what our song could improve on. Creating a song requires serious attention to details. We made sure our music kept consistency. Learning the fundamentals of song development is inspirational. Our entire group worked hard to produce a great music video. The studio is where our creative ideas became a reality. Heavy-duty music equipment Inisde of ProTools you can precisely adjust volume levels. Digital synthesizers provide endless possibilities. Our lyrics complimented the melody of our song perfectly. The black drape was an essential component in our video. We created a beat that would stand out and be different. Our music creation process involved numerous revisions. The studio is where we formed our song and video concepts. Digital instruments can produce millions of sounds. The key to our success was having fun. We experimented on the drums before making a digital version. The recording studio is the perfect creative environment. I held the power to create an amazing song!

PROCESS
recap
The music video unit at Freestyle Academy was truly a great opportunity to explore my musical talents and work with another web/audio and two other film students. They each provided a unique creative perspective and improved the production process by sharing valuable insight. Beyond the preproduction process of creating lyrics and finding filming locations, the actual development of a finished song was made possible through the amazing Freestyle Academy recording studio. In the studio I had the opportunity to record live audio and work with digital and acoustic instruments. The essential tools used during this project were ProTools and Reason. I first worked with my group in Reason to develop a melody, and then I brought our musical creation into ProTools for editing.
Near the end of the music video I am introduced wearing a funky metalic shirt and crazy black leather boots. I decided to design the look and feel of this website around my music video persona. Using a combination of Photoshop and jQuery I developed the walking effect shown each time the user navigates between content. Throughout the process of making this website I have definitely gained a stronger understanding of the connection between CSS, HTML, and jQuery. For future web projects, I plan on using my knowldege to create more interactive web experiences.
