Narrative-
The Narrative Unit was our second unit at Freestyle. In this we examined the art of story telling. In English we practiced many quick writing exercises that helped us with a creative writing process. We also read many short stories and looked at many different writing techniques. After months of this we wrote a short story of our own. In Design we create a diptych photo narrative. For this we had to tell a story using only two pictures. This presented many challenges creating conflict and resolution that makes sense and we needed to have a good concept for a story before even starting. Also, we made an illustration. I found that even more difficult than the photo narrative because every aspect of the story had to be shown in one image. In Web/Audio we created an animatic, animation and this website.
