In the podcasting unit, we were required to make a podcast on a topic of our choice. We were able to work in groups or seperately and researched other podcasts in order to make ours as entertaining as possible. Hudson Jones and I decided that we would do our podcast on conspiracy theories. We decided to make this our topic, because everyone has heard of crazy conspiracies and many of them sound insane. This made us interested in why people would believe these conspiracies and why they were made in the first place.

A black and white illustration of a "flat Earth" with a space ship pulling a cow up into it and away from the city depicted on Earth

I drew this graphic for our album art in order to show the many different conspiracies that have erupted throughout the history of our country. The idea of aliens taking cows has been referenced many times in many different settings, from movies and t.v. shows to other podcasts I listened to in order to inform myself as I made my own podcast. The black and white is to show how polarizing these thoeries can be. These ideas are seen as very “black and white” either you believe them or you don’t, but they don’t have to be. people that do and do not believe in these conspiracies can get along and reach a common ground, disagreeing with someone does not necissarily mean that you need to convince them that you are right.
