Street Photography

For the street photography project we were instructed to go outside of school where we did not know anyone and take candid photos of people walking around or sitting without them noticing.

Citizen Diptych

For the Citizen Diptych we used our Lyrical Essay for inspiration for this photography assignment. The main theme of my lyrical essay was that the atmosphere of the classroom of my subject caused them to feel weighed down, and I wanted to portray that with this photo.

Product Label

For this project we were required to design a food label using Illustrator. We had the option to choose a variety of different food products for our label including; Coffee (bag),Wine, Beer, Juice, Honey/Jam. Before we started designing the label we needed to conduct some research on labels of that food type. For me I chose to design a Honey label so I did some research on different types of honey from today and from the past.

Product Triptych

The Product Triptych is building on from the Product Label. We used the website placeit.net to make the mockups.

Movie Poster

In this Project we made a Movie Poster of an event of our creation, the poster was to be influenced by the style of the artist we explored in English for the Touchstone Project.

In this project we had the option of either making a new food product or use the same product that we have previously made. I decided to use the same food label that I perviously made because I liked the design of that label and I had spent a lot of time working on it.

Reflection

I really valued all the skills that I have learned throughout these projects. I truly enjoyed producing these final projects. During Citizen I was able to learn a new way of text manipulation which was really fun and I will most likely use this type manipulation in other projects. These production really challenged me in a good way of course, I feel like I have grown and improved in my design skills compared to when I first joined Freestyle Academy last year.
