About Me

Hello there!

My name is Gabrielle Viera but I go by Gabs or Gabby. I am graduating from Mountain View High School and will be taking a year off to focus and set my sites on what I want to do in life.

I will admit I’m not that good at summaries so I am going to look up questions then answer them below. Oh and here are some pictures of me.

Me when I drove down to Arizona.

When did you first have an interest in the Arts?

Since I was little I think. I’ve always loved paintings, singing, and taking pictures, so as I grew up I continued to grow in these areas as well as new ones like writing and film.

Who do you aspire to be like?

I think I inspire to be like Lin-Manual Miranda. I love his attitude toward the world and also just his amazingness as a person. He has done so much in the theater world and I would love to make a difference like that someday.

Do you have a sweet tooth or a savory tooth?

Savory! Definitely a savory tooth.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

My screenplay. I love it and it took so much time and love to make and I am so proud of it.

What drives you to do what you do?

My love for what I do drives me. I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t love it.

What is your most bizarre talent?

I can talk without moving my lips.

Is there a documentary or book that really changed the way you thought about something?

“Holding the Man” its a movie but it really changed my view on the way things are in the LGBTQ world and also as well as the fights that went on to bring that community to where it is today.

Who is a character from a TV show or a book that you’ve always resonated with?

I think it would be Bianca from the “DUFF” because her character was just so much like myself. Someone who is tough on the outside but can sometimes be broken on the inside and it made me feel so less alone.

Favorite Movie?

Right now it would have to be “Being 17” Directed by André Téchiné.

Favorite Song?

“Touch me” from the musical Spring Awakening.

Favorite Book?

So many! But I’m going to pick one and say “Green Angel” by Alice Hoffman. Why? Because it’s the first one I saw in the favorite section of my bookcase.

Favorite Color?

Red. It’s so lively and vibrant.
