This photo was taken at a Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been going to with my family since we moved to California in 2006. This dish brings back memories of family and familiar experiences. Even though the surrounding restaurants and stores have changed and adapted over time, going to the specific restaurant always reminds me of my culture.
