This is my grandma’s. I have no clue how to play it.
Category: Composition
In my weekly photo blog, one of the weekly challenges was to take photos incorporate compositional techniques.
Depth of Field
Depth of Field is a great way to isolate your subject. Instead, for the challenge though I want you to use DoF to make a subject appear part of something larger.
Using Props
I used my little brother to illustrate how to use props. =P
Viewpoint
This is a dude looking at a computer.
Rule of Odds
I wanted to experiment with the rule of thirds(because I was told to). Actually, I had a friends take a photo of me on the couch. It had and still has three cushions.
The theory of c-o-l-o-r
I’ll be honest, I don’t know what settings I changed, but I like the new feel of the photo. I took this in New York. I think.
Rule of Thrids
I had the photo divided up into nine sections. Each invisible box has it’s own item in it. Isn’t that cute?
Lighting ahhh
This is my little brother again. I don’t know what he is doing and that’s ok. I tried to use the speedlight on him. His face dodged my attack.
SYMMETRY YRTEMMYS
I used photoshop to turn one photo into two really ugly photos. I thought editing was supposed to make it better. Symmetry is beautiful, but not in this context. I never thought this was a thing. I am a little disappointed. I should’ve photoshopped abs or something.
