Depth of Field

legos!

Depth of Field is a great way to isolate your subject. Instead, for the challenge though I want you to use DoF to make a subject appear part of something larger.

Rule of Odds

There are three couch pillows in this photo
There are three couch pillows, therefore it is – well- odd.

I wanted to experiment with the rule of thirds(because I was told to). Actually, I had a friends take a photo of me on the couch. It had and still has three cushions.

The theory of c-o-l-o-r

Picture of Ibby again that has lots of color
I changed some color settings.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what settings I changed, but I like the new feel of the photo. I took this in New York. I think.

Rule of Thrids

There is an umbrella, a plant, and some terrain
I took this picture at freestyle. I think.

I had the photo divided up into nine sections. Each invisible box has it’s own item in it. Isn’t that cute?

Lighting ahhh

a picture of ibby
I used light ‘creatively’

This is my little brother again. I don’t know what he is doing and that’s ok. I tried to use the speedlight on him. His face dodged my attack.

SYMMETRY YRTEMMYS

An image of three of me, but my face is copied in different ways
A photo displaying symmetry, but not the kind you want.

I used photoshop to turn one photo into two really ugly photos. I thought editing was supposed to make it better. Symmetry is beautiful, but not in this context. I never thought this was a thing. I am a little disappointed. I should’ve photoshopped abs or something.
