Introduction

Welcome to my profile page on Adrianne Summers, a special education teacher at Luigi Aprea elementary school. Here you will learn about who she is as a person and what she does to benifit the children she teaches. This project has taught me many lessons. I learned how to use Adobe programs such as Dreamweaver for website design, InDesign for magazine production, and english for writing content creation. But the most important lesson that ive learned through this is that everyone has a story. A story that people would not even know if they looked at them. Its like a book, the cover can only show so much but what matters is the pages inside that tell the story. This project is captering those pages and reflecting on the story inside.

Bio

The profile project was also about gathering different perspectives from others on your profile star. We were tasked to carry out three different interviews: one with the profile star, another with a secondary perspective, and lastly a third perspective. Hearing about my profile star through different perspectives peaked my interest. It allowed me to gather more information on Mrs. Summers and further my understanding about her. Audio provided below was created using the Pro Tools software taught in WebAudio class. We as a class learned how to record, produce audio, and fine tune the files to get what we wanted out of it for presentation.

Mrs. Summers

Mrs. Summers is the main teacher of the classroom. She coordinates with other paras to make sure that children's needs are being adressed inside the classroom.

Angela

Angela is a one on one para inside Mrs. Summers's classroom. She works with a little girl named Sasha who has a rare form of epilepsy. When Sasha is not in the classroom, she also aids with the other children in the class. Angela provides a perspective from a para that works with a child that has more complex needs.

Carolina

Carolina is another one on one para inside Mrs. Summers's classroom. She works with a little girl that is orthopedic impaired. Carolina provides a perspective on how Mrs. Summers adresses the needs of a child with a specific impairment.
