Video Essay
In Film class, we were asked to create an essay that creatively explained a contribution to who we are. After we wrote the essay, we recorded ourselves reading them with our Tascam Audio Recorder. Once we had the recordings, we took out our cameras and began to film b-roll to play over our audio. The following is my final Video Essay.
I deeply valued the self discovery that came through this project. I learned a lot about myself just by taking time to reflect and think. I also valued the chance to get back into working in tight schedules after spending a summer away. It was a great opportunity to practice our writing, filming and editing skills before we start our next large project.
