These orange poppies across the street from my house have started blooming in the warmer weather. When it’s colder at night, they close up.
Category: Storytelling
In our weekly photo blog, we were challenged to take photos and one of the themes to tell a story.
Color without Color
A photo of my dog lounging in his favorite chair. He has beautiful brown/red curly hair, but you can’t really tell in this black and white photo.
My Culture
I think that this photo (taken at Facebook) shows a bit more about my beliefs, and how I see the world.
Self-Portrait
I have grown so much since the beginning of Freestyle. I have connected with so many people and learned to work together, be creative, and be kind. I know that I will remember all of these skills in college, and that my time since taken my first self-portrait and now has changed me.
Storms
This is my favorite type of weather, stormy and overcast. The air was fresh and crisp, and made me extremely happy over the sun.
Deadly Sins
I captured this photo while painting for a freestyle project. I liked the vibrant red colors that along with the themes of anger, envy, etc.
Film Noir
Although it was difficult for me to make a more professional film noir shot, I thought that this was encapsulated the dark, shadowy effects of the style.
Modern Convenience
A modern convenience that we cannot live without is a plane! Well, maybe we can. But they are extremely useful for getting around, so I thought they were an important type of technology to document this week.
Friends and Family
For my photo of friends and family, I took a photo of my mom and her husband, Steve. The candid shot captures how happy they are together, and how important they are to me.
