Challenged to step in someone else’s shoes, I created a scene that depicts myself in the position as doctor and patient. Commenting on tense social-interaction between doctor and patient, I hope to evoke the feeling of discomfort. This diptych embodies the importance of the patient’s role to keep themselves healthy which in some sense is the role of being their own doctor.
