While completing college applications and preparing for the future, at Freestyle I was asked to reflect on my past experiences and answer the question, “Who Am I?” During these past few months I used many different mediums to answer this question. I have learned that I have grown to become an optimistic learner who looks forward to the future.
In order to begin brainstorming, I created an essence object list full of things I think represent who I am and my beliefs. This helped give me stories and memories to reflect on when thinking about my past four years as a high school student.
Essence Objects:
- Flossers
- Glasses cleaner
- Grandfather clock
- New York Giants T-Shirt
- iMovie
- Chic-fil-a Sauce
- Travel photos
- Fortune cookie paper sayings
- Nail file
- Laundry basket
- Retainer
- Purple flimsy water-resistant hat
- Jersey shore
- White Toyota Camry
- Dibs chocolate covered ice cream
- Sticky notes
- Production cameras
- Looking for Alaska by John Green
- Mashed potatoes
- Christmas cookies
