Below are some pieces that I’m proud of from both my junior and senior years at Freestyle!
Junior Year
Below is a flyer that I created for the “First Olympic Watch Party.” This was one of the first assignments that I had that was dedicated to an audience, rather than a project I was making just for myself and my teacher. I feel like I did pretty well on this, especially considering this was in the first few months of working with any Adobe software.
Here are two advertisements that I created using InDesign. I am proud of both of these because I really like the color schemes and graphic design elements I used in each.
I created this monstrosity as an introductory assignment to Adobe Illustrator, but I really enjoyed the project and I’m happy with the way it turned out. It is a mix between a hermit crab, eagle, alligator, beaver, and a fly, and I named it the “Barmit Flocover.”
Below is my experimental music piece that I created using Pro Tools. I really enjoyed this project because it gave me a way to express myself using audio for the first time at Freestyle. I have had a passion for music since I was young, as I learned various instruments such as piano, guitar, trombone, and double bass.
Senior Year
I loved my Design course senior year especially because it really showed me how much I have grown as an artist since last year. Below are a few pieces from Design that I loved, as well as the artist statements I wrote linked to the images.
I also had a lot of fun in Digital Media, where there were also a few assignments that I was proud of and fully captured the growth I have had from junior to senior year.
As you can all see, I am really happy with my artistic growth here at Freestyle, and I am excited to start a new chapter at college in 2023. Thank you Freestyle!
