It stands as one of the few last non-profit all ages music venue for non mainstream alternative music venues that hosts punk, metal, hardcore, and other types of music genres shows. I explore punk culture in this documentary and use Gilman to discover the truth behind the music genre punk and see if the culture has truly died or if its dead only in the mainstream but still lives in the underground at places like 924 Gilman Street.
