Profile Project
Welcome to my Profile Project website. For this unit our assignment was to go out into the community and find someone who made a diffrence in peoples life, or just had a general positive influence on the community. I chose my highschool lacrosse coach, Joe Juter. I chose Joe because I saw the way he influenced the kids who had played for him, he instilled quality values into them and helped them in every aspect of life. Joe believes that sports shouldn't always be about winning, but more about the teaching of kids through teamwork, integrity, and hardwork. Joe has made a positive influence in my life by making me a leader and more outgoing about things, and also to work hard in the toughest situations. I enjoyed this project because no only did I get closer friends with my current coach but also it game me more chances to practice in dreamweaver and after effects. To create this website I wanted to create something I thought would represent Joe, so I went with our schools colors. His life is our team so I thought the colors would represent him well. I also tried to keep it basic but with some features that I really wanted to try, like the sliding buttons that expand when you hover over them. I also wanted to try the vertically sliding pages. Overall this project was great because I got more practice in the Adobe applications and I also got closer to my coach and got to represent him in a way I think he will like.
