Welcome to my Narrative Website! Our second quarter at Freestyle was devoted to the Narrative Unit, which involved a variety of projects, artwork, and writing pieces to explore the skill of story telling. In this website, you will find all my work this quarter at Freestyle Academy. Not only did we utilize the tool of Adobe Dreamweaver to create the website, but we were taught how to work Adobe Flash CS5, a program that allows you to create animations. In addition, we continued to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create a Narrative Illustration and Diptych, both in which have a story embedded in them. In English, we were encouraged to take a plunge into creativity by writing a variety of original stories, some of which were only 55 words.

Through this unit, I learned an incredible amount and have gained a new respect for all animators. Making my animation was no easy business, as it took nearly two hours to figure out how to make my elephant blink its eyes. However, I am very pleased with how my overall animatic and animation turned out. With this being my first experience with Flash CS5, I'm very excited to see what I can create in my future at Freestyle. As for my work in Design, I can see a clear improvement from my Self Portrait work. With more experience with Illustrator and Photoshop, my work is slowly starting to progress. In English, I derived an original story that I am proud to call mine.
