Introduction to Virginia Becker
My Profile subject,Virginia Becker, is an amazing woman who really makes a difference in our community with her portraits and her liveliness and enthusiasm. I choose her because of these qualities, and because I consider her to be a life teacher. Her ability to communicate with others and her hardships and struggles, making her the amazing woman you see today. My comercial shows what her home life and who she is when she is not working. Her home reflects her personality as well as feeling like you are at peace, as she describes. The comercial was really fun to do especially when we learned how to use After Effects, which I found to be much easier than using flash. I really enjoyed working on this project and am proud of how it came out.

Magazine
In this project I found the magazine portion to be really challenging, not because of the programs, but from the collection of the content and the arrangement of everything. The magazine was put together using InDesign in our design class, where we gathered all of our photos and writing. I really enjoyed the process of producing the writing in english and the photos in the field, overall I thought that I did a great job even with all of the hiccups along the way. I ran into many scheduling conflicts and some writers block making it that much more difficult to produce the final project, but it is all coming together now. You can view my magazine by clicking on the tripod. I really enjoyed coming up with this color scheme, mostly because of who Virginia is and what I really wanted to say about her.

Presentation
This element was based on our article that we wrote in English class, where we used the main ideas from our paper and placed them into a comercial that we put together in web using the photos from design. For the comercial we used after effects, to put together the audio, photos, and graphic elements. For the presentation we are using our graphic elements, and our profile subject. However the presentation is to show what I have learned and what I did in each class. In design I struggled in creating my article outline, and using the speed light. In english it was working through my creative blocks, and learning how to structure an article. In web we learned more javascript, after effects, and audio production.
