Welcome to Deconstructive Chaos website, in here you will be able to see our music video, the photos we took during the whole process of this unit, and my art work that I did for this part of the music video. For this unit I was assigned to paired up to be with another individual in web audio; Sofia Biros; and two film students; Niamh McLoughlin, Carter Lee. We were all assigned to create a song, and the music that will be used for our music video. It was a struggle for us, because we didn’t know what song we that we wanted to make, and we didn’t know the first thing about creating a song, but after experimenting with each other’s ideas, listening to each others music. We all came to conclusion that we wanted something different, but original for this unit. We wanted the song to be artistic, as if goes the same for the music video. I hope you all enjoy our song, and our music video, it was an incredible, challenge, and amazing experience for all of us.
In this page you will be able too my music video, and the lyrics to the song. If you click on the image above the left corner will you be able to watch the music video. And on the right of the music video link you will be able to download the music as well. Since we had the idea of having an artistic song we decided to go with an artistic music video. the Film students; Carter Lee, Niamh McLoughlin had to create the storyboards, and film the footage that you see in the music video.
In this page of the music video website you will see the art work I have made for this portion of the unit. I was assigned to create a concert poster and a t-shirt that represented my band, Chaotic Deconstruction. For this assignment I had to use Photoshop, and Illustrator to create the portion of my poster. I had to create a poster that was similar, but different from my group members. I had the idea of creating a figure that has distorted figure. At first I wanted to use one figure for the poster, but I wanted the poster to capture the audiences attention, so instead I decided to use two figures for my poster, and then I added some effects to the poster that would represent my chaotic band. For my t-shirt I had to create a design that was similar to by concert poster. I had a similar idea in mind, using a different figure for the t-shirt design I wasted to create something original, something different, something that people would see in stores. So I made a statue like figure and distorted as much as possible, using the Adobe programs; Photoshop, and Illustrator to create the finished product you see here now. Working on these assignments was both changeling and an experience that I enjoyed entirely.
