Inspiration
In our weekly photo blog, we were challenged to take photos of things that inspired us
-
Work
For this photo, I was inspired by the work ethic of my mother during the quarantine. She set up a station filled with her textbooks and documents all for herself to maintain optimal efficiency. I drew inspiration from this and wanted to capture the dedication and hardwork of my mother.

Future
What I love about the future is how it’s shaped. It’s shaped by individuals with dreams and passion and molded by hardworkers. I wanted to show that in this image where the sea itself is shaped and formed by the individual organisms and plant life that lives there in addition to the waves that shape the rocks and the sand.
-
Food
For this photo, I thought it’d be interesting to show a modified version of a before and after. I included the final result of my cooking, the friend rice with beef, and surrounded it with the ingredients I also used to make the food.

Current Events
This image represents the started breakdown of 2020 with everything changing as we knew it.

Musical
In this photo I took the inspiration behind the ukulele as my muse. I played the ukulele for a short time as a child but it was a fun experience because it fit my size well and made beautiful music. I wanted to honor this memory and honor the people that have taken the time to master a unique instrument.

The Elements
In this photo I wanted to combine two elements that are codependent together in one frame: water and earth. Water helps the earth grow and prosper while the earth stores the water until its needed.

Gratitude
For this week, we were asked to take a photo of something that we were grateful for. I am grateful for the childhood I had. It was chaotic and beautiful and brings back many joyous memories that have shaped me into who I am today. This image of a playground set is what I think of when I think of my childhood back in Maryland.

Who Inspires You
My dad is an inspiration to me. He inspires and encourages me to go above and beyond, to grow and become greater than him so I can raise a child to do the same.

Your Habits
This picture here is of my garden behind my house. My mother mainly tends to it, while I occasionally tend to it when I have finished with all my chores. I feel this best represents my habits as it demonstrates two facts. The first being that I have a routine and a guideline I stick to. The second being that when given a responsibility, I ensure that it will be completed.
