Documentary — Visual Productions

As part of the documentary process, we learned how to use various applications to create flyers and other visual papers. The main program in question we used here was Adobe InDesign. One of our creations was a mock event flyer, such as the kind you’d see on a wall or a telephone pole, advertising an event or occasion. Being the avid roller coaster enthusiast, I chose to do mine on one of my favorite amusement parks, the world-famous Cedar Point. Next to it is a screenshot of the InDesign project work space.

The other document we created in InDesign was a mock tri-fold, which I decided to do on a rather interesting and totally authentic organization known as the “Chicken Gang”. Here it is.

It definitely jogged my imagination, to say the least. Here’s a photo from behind the scenes of the InDesign work space.
