The inspiration for my animation came directly from my short story and tells my main character, Amy's, story. I actually ended up portraying my character as eggs because of the simplicity, but also because they still hold metaphoric value. My story revolves around the concept that "everyone has cracks", which relates perfectly to the eggs, whose physical cracks in my animation represent the imperfections and insecurities that the characters in my flash fiction feel.

I created my animation using Flash, and was taught multiple techniques in class in order to tell my complete story in a semi-realistic way (despite the characters being eggs). In my animation, I used a ton of motion tweens, I realized how The experience was tedious and extremely time-consuming, but in the end it was incredibly rewarding to see my characters come to life.
