Perspective Piece
The perspective assignment was meant for students to be able to express themselves in the way of their choosing. We were allowed to talk about almost anything we wanted for about two minutes. Good or bad, we were allowed to talk about whatever came to mind at the moment. For me, I chose to write about how I feel when I am underwater. I have always been a swimmer and the pool and water in general has had a huge impact in my life and given me a whole new perspective!
To create this piece, I had to write out my essay in Google Docs, and then I recorded myself saying it in the studio. I then uploaded that and other videos and footage I had taken to an Adobe After Effects project, which is where I created the video below.
The photo above is a screenshot of my workspace on Adobe After Effects when producing my perspective video. I used compositions with many videos I took myself and ones from off the internet that I thought went well with my topic. I used music for the background, and other effects throughout the video to make it go smoothly.
