What is this unit all about, William?
This is our final unit in Freestyle. It's the experimental unit! It's called the experimental unit because we were supposed to push our boundries and try new methods of creating art.
What did you do?
Well for web we had to record three of our poems and put orginal music behind them. We were also required to use loops, much to my despair. For graphics class I utilized digital photography in a different way than I've ever done before.
Elaborate!
Well, I took two self portrait photos, and put them back to back, then behind each behind plexi glass. On the plexi glass I then painted over my figure in acryclics! Read my artist statement here for the official description.
What else is there?
Well, nothing really. This is just filler text. I will say that this project was one of the most fun ones we had to do, but I was very very very strapped for time because I wasn't home for most of the month. Whoopsie!
