Narrative Unit

This is the website for the narrative unit at Freestyle Academy. We made projects in each class within this theme: two projects in Design, a short story in English, and this website and an animation in Web/Audio.

 

The two Design projects were a photo narrative diptych, to photos creating a story between the two with some sort of conflict, and an illutration, again telling a story. In Web/Audio, the animation was also suppossed to narrate a story, with the dual purpose of teaching us how to animate using Flash. The website was designed to hold all the projects, but also have somewhat of a story behind the design. I tried to show this through a boat and the adventures of the high seas. The background resembling a ships cabin table is suppossed to convey this theme. In English we wrote a short story with an emphasis on creating a conflict, and how to write in a way that creates and resolves the conflict.
